Hair Dr. Fix

There is no doubt that people miss a "good thang" after a while.  My point is, one of my old hair clients had a hair emergency, so she called me.  The  salon she was currently going to damaged her hair.  I will not show the damage, but you will see her hair before it was damaged and after my first repair session with her.
Before the salon damaged her hair.

I had to cut at least 3" of  damaged hair. I also added extension highlights to
fill in the thin areas. You can tell by her smile that she LOVED IT!
Ladies, you must take responsibility for your own hair.  It takes time for any hairstylist to become familiar with a new clients' hair.  You should have a consultation with them every visit, even if you've known them for a long time.  Learn your own hair, so you can take notice if their is a challenge.

My New Love

I found a new love.  Easy not complicated. Not time consuming; easy to put in and take out.  Not like the others.  Get your mind out of the gutter...LOL! It's crocheting!  Oh, I love it.  It's the best thing yet  in weaving/extensions. I needed something quick for a photoshoot and it came out pretty GREAT! My arms don't get tired because the technique doesn't require me to hold them up for long periods of time while applying each hair strand.  Check out some pics in prep for my photo session.

Hey, it's me.  The Hair Dr. On-Call apologizing for being a "part-time" blogger.  Now I am on it when it comes to doing hair and talking about hair.  I have to be more consistent writing about what I love too.  Because we all know that somebody, somewhere is talking about somebody else's hair.

Take a look as some quick pics:

I love expressing art through hair.  So I use myself first as a canvass to create whatever I feel at the time.  It's fun and definitely saves me MONEY! Beau Monde Bantu

After cutting my natural hair (OMG -whyyyyy?) I really have to put more work into keeping my hairstyles fresh.  My sides are really growing out and it's about to drive me CRAY-CRAY, but I won't let it.  I developed just the right natural hair product for my tight, kinky curls. Yes, my MOCA MIRACLE does wonders to keep my hair silky and shiny.
